SHARE IT

I have become a servant of everyone so that I can bring them to Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:19 (NLT)

  • Serving people for the purpose of bringing them to Christ is spiritual maturity.

I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

 Philemon 1:6 (NIV)

  •  When I actively share my faith with others I grow to understand more in Christ

THE DISCIPLE'S PROBLEMS

Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to Him and said, "Send the crowd away,"

 Luke 9:12 (NIV)

"I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not."

Luke 9:40 (NIV)

An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest.

 Luke 9:46 (NIV)

When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?"

 Luke 9:54 (NIV)

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place where He was about to go.

 Luke 10:1 (NIV)

JESUS' INSTRUCTIONS

1. Pray.

"When you enter a house, first say, 'Peace to this house.' If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you."

Luke 10:5-6 (NIV)

Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Luke 18:1 (NIV)

2. Build a friendship with them.

"Stay in that house, eating and drinking whatever they give you".

Luke 10:7 (NIV)

 3. Minister to them.

"Heal the sick who are there..."

Luke 10:9a (NIV)

4. Tell them the good news.

"...and tell them, 'The Kingdom of God is near you.'"

Luke 10:9b (NIV)

The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name."

Luke 10:17 (NIV)

"Do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

 Luke 10:20 (NIV)

Jesus said..., "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

John 11:25 (NIV)
